Georgetta ("George") Beck is a seasoned trial attorney with over 30 years of experience handling civil trial matters. She began her career working with famed personal injury lawyer Melvin Belli and later worked as in-house counsel for Hartford Insurance handling personal injury, property damage, workers compensation and subrogation.
In 1985 Ms. Beck and her husband Eric Miller formed a successful firm specializing in real estate and business litigation, construction and personal injury. She has since expanded her practice to include estate and trust disputes, legal malpractice and other fiduciary related matters.
Ms. Beck was born in New York. She received a B.S. Degree with Highest Honors from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1977 and graduated with Honors from Golden Gate University School of Law in 1981. She served as Associate Editor of the Golden Gate University Law Review and authored "A Case of Forced Equity: Obtaining Spousal and Child Support From a Member of the Armed Forces." She also served as a Judicial Extern in Chief Justice Rose Bird's Central Staff at the California Supreme Court.
Ms. Beck has many passions including art, music, comedy, hiking, biking and motorscooter riding.
